Bedford Hotel

We had a lovely and very traditional afternoon tea at The Bedford. The restaurant and terrace were well above what you’d expect for a 3* hotel. And the service was top notch. We enjoyed the range of sandwiches and cakes. All very fresh and tasty. Only suggestion would be fresh scones. These were shop bought. Will definitely return for a cocktail or dinner.

A very pleasant, solid 3star hotel. Courteous receptionists, personnel. The garden facing room was comfortable, clean, well maintained, quiet, large by London standards. The bedding was comfortable. Bathroom is working well, nicely maintained. Common areas are clean, reasonably well maintained. Location is decent, in an area filled with decent eateries, museums, parks A definite contender for repeat business.

What a beautiful hotel. Siobhan (I hope I spelled it correctly) and Ken were a very welcoming front desk staff. Pleasant and informative. Thr room was massive and it was nice to be able to just come back to After a day of being a tourist. It is in a perfect location to the British museum and transit. Will definitely recommend to family and friends

10/10 location - really great transportation nearby and walking distance to both the British Museum and the West End! It was nice being able to catch a show at night and walk back to the hotel without feeling unsafe - especially traveling as girls. The bus stop across the street and the one near the British Museum ended up being perfect, we were able to go on and get to a lot of places without needing to take a taxi or the train. Service was also great! Super happy that they allowed you to check in your bag before and after your stay. This was top priority for us and helped with some of the anxiety of keeping our belongings safe. Specifically very thankful that we got upgraded and to a room that was ready 2 hours before the actual check in time. This helped after a red eye flight! The team was also helpful before we even arrived, as I booked through Chase and wanted to confirm my reservation. The team was very kind over email. My only callout is the height and size of the tub. I recommend looking through pictures and checking out for yourself if you feel like you would be comfortable in the shower. No issues for us, but I can see it be an issue for some others. Otherwise, no complaints about the room and the view! Overall, would for book again!

I stayed here for 3 days in February as a solo traveler and felt very safe, comfortable, and that it was great value for money. The staff were very kind, the room was clean and cozy, and the location is amazing! There are plenty of public transport options nearby. The only downside was that I could hear quite a lot of noise, both from outside the room and from the street, during the day and at night. Other than that, everything was really perfect.

A pleasant hotel, with very, very friendly service (shoutout to Vlad at the reception desk and the very friendly cleaning staff). The location is hard to beat (it’s especially fantastic if travelling by train), prices are fair, and rooms are clean if slightly showing their age. No A/C in my room, if that’s important to you.

We went for an afternoon tea, which was really good quality, good value and with very friendly and attentive staff. There is a nice area to sit with an attractive outdoor seating area. It was quiet, but we didn’t really mind that.

Solid hotel right in the heart of London. Very clean and cozy. Also the staff was exceptional and very kind. The duty manager (Saad) showed great care and customer service as well. I had a reservation issue with the third party company I booked it through because the third party made a mistake with the booking. Saad was very understanding of the situation and helped resolve the issue quickly. I am very happy with my stay so far and will come back to this hotel again!
